Snowies MTB Festival 10 Year Anniversary Entries Open with a MASSIVE One Day Celebration Sale

SNOWY MOUNTAINS, NSW – With 10 years under their belt launching and developing MultiSport events in the Snowy Mountains, In2Adventure, in conjunction with Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa, have announced a month-long celebration in February 2023.  And, as a bonus, athletes will have the opportunity to enter Snowies MTB Festival, with a MASSIVE One Day Sale.  And it all kicks off this Thursday 14^th July.

The mountains are calling as Australia’s Home-Grown Mountain Bike Stage Race returns to its origins in the spectacular Snowy Mountains from the 3^rd to 5^th of February 2023.

Snowies Mountain Bike Festival includes two unique course options with the 114k Wild Brumby and 75k Brumby.

The Wild Brumby includes all of the epic riding for which the Snowy Mountains is famous including Thredbo's Ricochet trails, the beauty of Lake Crackenback Resort trails PLUS an awe-inspiring descent from Thredbo to Gaden on the Snowy Legends Descent, traversing the banks of the Thredbo River on the iconic Thredbo Valley Track (TVT).

And for those looking to enjoy the riding in the Snowy Mountains minus the more technical riding the Brumby Course is the perfect option.

The Snowies MTB Festival is ideally unique in the MTB Stage race arena.  The festival offers three days of incredibly diverse riding which all takes place within a 35km radius.  This means it is one of the few MTB Stage races where riders don’t require a support crew and there’s no moving or travelling long distances and that makes it even easier on the hip pocket as well.

Riders can just sit back and enjoy the epic riding in Australia’s High-Country playground.

MORE A CELEBRATION THAN A RACE

As many have already discovered, this is “more than just a race”, it’s a celebration of the outdoors and great mates in an iconic destination.  Groups, clubs, families and off-road enthusiasts will be travelling from across the country to enjoy the action and camaraderie in Australia’s legendary Snowy Mountains.

Events are based out of two of the region’s most popular resorts with Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa and Thredbo Resort providing athletes and families the chance to holiday right in the heart of the action with Race HQ on the doorstep.  All while taking in the luxury and experiencing the hospitality and local fare that only the Snowies region can deliver.

Riders will also get up close and personal in a race against the festivals very own ‘Man from Snowy River’ as we embrace the spirit of this high-country legend penned by Banjo Patterson.

NEW TEAMS CHALLENGE IN 2023

2023 will also see the launch of the all new Snowies MTB ‘Teammate Crate Race’ which celebrates the amazing, teams, clubs and mates racing at the Snowies MTB Festival.  The stakes are high as teams race to the finish to claim the famous beer crate and perpetual trophy on offer for the victorious teams.

SNOWIES MULTISPORT FESTIVAL

Snowies MTB Festival is part of the Snowies MultiSport Festival which includes two action packed long weekends with Snowies MTB Festival on 3-5 Feb, Trail Run Australia on 24-25 Feb and TreX Cross Triathlon on 26 Feb.  The action culminates with the party to end all parties at the 10-year celebration event at Lake Crackenback Resort on Sunday.

After the first 50 entries have been sold, riders who enter before 11:59pm AEST on Thurs 14 July will save a massive $200 off the standard entry price.

One Day Entry Special - Important Information

• Be Quick! The first 50 specials sold out within the first 20mins last year and numbers are limited.
• Entry Opening and Closure: Special one day entries will open at *10am AESTand will remain open until 11:59pm on the opening day.
